Fedor Kossakovski

Fedor joined MOBProd in 2016 as a Production Assistant. He is now a Producer. Fedor produces NewsHour pieces, fact-checks content, writes scripts and articles, supports the production team, helps out with social media, and runs this website.

Before joining the team, he studied chemistry and creative writing at UNC and Duke University as part of the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program. He has previously interned at NOVA PBS, the Environmental Defense Fund, and the Foundation for Sustainable Development. When he isn’t at work, Fedor plays banjo and reads 1950s science fiction.

Fedor is passionate about creative science communication. He also runs the quarterly art and science magazine Event Horizon.
