Rick Manoogian is an Emmy award winning documentary editor (Mid-Atlantic and Rocky Mountain-Southwest regions) with nearly thirty years experience crafting interesting and engaging stories. His writing and editing credits include PBS NOVA, Frontline, NewsHour, This Old House, ABC, ESPN, Discovery, History Channel, and National Geographic, as well as independent verité documentaries.
His style ranges from thought provoking journalism to high-energy cable and sports television. Whether working with extensive multi-camera footage or sparse single camera material, he carves out cogent and compelling narratives.
Manoogian has also taught editing at Boston University, Emerson College, the Maine Media Workshops, and at the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Yerevan, Armenia.
